Sometimes KiSS won't play a file or playback are destorted in some way.<br>
That can be caused by a lot of different incompabilities, See [[File formats]], bad encoding and errors in the file.<br>
Here are som common problems:

==Video sound out of sync==
===On recordings===
Problems with the picture not being synchronized with the sound in the recordings on DP-558, is a known software problem. 

KISS (LINKSYS) says that some of their best developers are on fixing the problem. 

The problem can be different from DVD player to DVD player, and is partly also depending on the TV signal you get.

===On compressed files from other sources===
When a file is compressed, sound and video can get out of sync for a number or reasons, if its not done properly:
