Here are some error codes you can see on the LCD while flashing

- 1 Could not open romfs file
- 2 Could not mount flash
- 3 Could not seek to beginning of romfs file
- 4 Could not seek to end of romfs file
- 5 Could not seek to beginning of flash
- 6 Could not seek to end of flash
- 7 Flash size is less then 4 * 1024 * 1024 bytes
- 8 Flash size is less then romfs file size
- 9 Could not allocate memory to load romfs file
-10 Could not seek to beginning of romfs file
-11 Could not read romfs file
-12 Could not erase flash
-13 Could not seek to offset in flash

If the player is stuck inside the flash and player cant eject the dvd you can do:

turn off player
hold eject
turn on player but HOLD eject
keep holding eject for 10 seconds
</pre>
The cd will now eject

if you have a vr-558 you need to:
<pre>
turn off player
hold default button (its on the back, you need a paperclip)
turn on player but HOLD default button
keep holding default button for 10 seconds
</pre>
The cd will now eject

If your player does dont accept a new burn iso for flashing you can try to:
<pre>
burn at low speed !
try to create a bootdvd instead of a bootcd (you can do this with nero)
</pre>

If it still fail its possible your DVD is dying
