KiSS CE is automated Collection and Encoding program.<br>

The Aim is to make the Unix media server an extention to the KiSS player, dealing with the trivial tasks of encoding the movies and providing edit options from a desktop (Windows or other) via filesharing like samba or NFS are installed.<br>
Once encoded videos are ready, you can use the kissdx program to streem the movie back to the KiSS player.

KiSS CE mainly dose two things:
* It creates an encoder queue (folder) where you can put your videos that needs encoding/compression
* It collects the video files from your KiSS player at night (configurable) via FTP.

All very configurable.
